I think the project can be very interesting but may I see all the details before I finally decide to join you? It might depend on the time I have to devote to it but it sounds like I may have some of the items at hand.
I am feeling better indeed, thanks!

LauraBambina felicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16922089450276834861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3671052106158558369.post-88777299084079525212012-07-01T11:52:33.302-07:002012-07-01T11:52:33.302-07:00Hi Laura,

For what it's worth, my older children are 22 months apart and even now, and 12 and 14 (ahh the adolescence years - ick) get along fairly well most of the time. It is the 6 year old that throws everybody for a loop! : )

I think you wrote to me ages and ages and AGES ago about a continent swap. I am sorry to say that I tend to get pretty wrapped up in my teaching, my family, and every day life, and I am truly so embarrassed that I forgot to respond. That said, this sounds like it may not be the best time for you to consider a project, but just in case you are . . . I wanted to invite you to join a cultural exchange my friend Aude is hosting. She lives in Ireland and has 6 people signed up to participate in this exchange - including her. She is in Ireland as I said, 1 person is from The UK, 1 from France, 1 from Canada, and 2 of us are from the USA. Let me know if you would like to join us, and I can send you all the info. This sounds interesting to me b/c it is supposed to be very personal, and is to be about each family and how they live. It will include photos of your home and/or school, information on your children's favorite books, sports etc. The children can also write personal letters in their native language if they wish . . etc etc. I think it will add some personal touches to continent boxes to have information about real children who live in some of the the places.

Just drop me a line if you would like to join us, but if not, it is no big deal at all. Hang in there, and I hope you feel better soon! : )

KarenAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3671052106158558369.post-88858874174497445102012-06-20T08:44:50.046-07:002012-06-20T08:44:50.046-07:00Thanks for your words, Melissa. Positive changes have followed, yes, one of them being sleep. Marina used to wake up 3 to 5 times a night and now she sleeps through the night or wakes up just once asking for water. This change surprised me as well. The whole thing has taught me that we can't never be sure about the way things will unfold.Laura Patriciohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00563998412652324363noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3671052106158558369.post-20810862987086777412012-06-19T19:37:41.375-07:002012-06-19T19:37:41.375-07:00What a beautiful story! It really helps to have your co parent on the same page, too, doesn't it? You all seem to be weathering the changes beautifully - I can't wait to learn from you and see how things go when baby arrives!melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16698231692999838673noreply@blogger.com
